On Sunday December 11, 2011 starting at 10am – 12:30pm Neighborhood House will need responsible adults to deliver gifts to seniors also there will be over 1100 seniors who will recieve gifts over the week of 12/11 – 12/16

On Monday December 5th, 10am-4pm, volunteers are needed to help unload and sort food items off an old Citylink Bus.

On Monday December 12th, 10am-7pm Friendship House will need volunteers to help SET-UP for Christmas Tree Lane.
On Tuesday December 13th Friendship House will provide shopping opportunities for children, they will be able to shop for their siblings, parents, & grandparents. Also on Wednesday December 14th parents can purchase a clothing outfit and toy for each of their children.
Volunteers are needed at the above sites to help with pricing, personal shopping, gift wrapping, restocking, delivery drivers and plenty of Christmas Spirit.

Through the simple gesture of a free meal, a clean shirt, or a sage place to learn, Friendship House offers the hope of a new start to the least, the last, and the lost.
Food Pantry- Wednesdays-Volunteers needed starting at 11:30a-2:30p to sort and distribute food to needy families.
Sunday Blessings- Sundays-Volunteers needed starting at 10:30a-1:30p to serve food to the community, and help clean auditorium.
General Maintenance-Volunteers always needed to assist Grounds Keeper with general up keep of the garden, grounds and inside maintenace such as stripping, waxing and buffing floors. (Hours negotiable between Grounds Keeper and Applicant).
Dress for Success Peoria Assistant: Sorting and organizing clothing donations for the boutique; data entry, partner information; various projects; potential for client interactions. Working with Personal Shopping Programs. ( Hours negotiable between Program Director and Applicant)
Office Assistant (Educational Programs): Assist the Director of Educational Programs with office duties to include grant planning and research, filing and organization, and planning and preparation for all Friendship House educational programs. ( Hours are negotiable between Director of Educational Programs & Applicant).

Goodwill GoodGuides is a national youth mentoring initiative that provides at risk youth with a trusted adult mentor to guide them in a positive direction and prepare them for school completion and post secondary training and/or schooling.
